9. Review your CV not only for substance, but also for style, including grammar, spelling, and typographical errors. Go through it and edit it several times to polish. It is good to get a third party perspective on your CV by asking the help of colleagues or friends for review.

10. Make mention of your knowledge about the company and industry of the hiring company. This will give impress upon the hiring company you did your homework in preparation for your job application.
